We are a multi award-winning architectural practice working across the UK and Guernsey. We specialise in new-build homes, extensions and renovations, heritage and protected buildings, residential developments, and carefully considered commercial projects - delivering clear design thinking, robust technical coordination, and calm guidance from first sketch to completion.
The Process:
Navigating a building project can feel complex, with multiple stages, consultants and approvals to manage. Our role is to bring clarity to the process, explain decisions in plain terms, and ensure you feel confident and supported from the outset.
We lead the design, coordinate the wider consultant team, and manage the technical and regulatory requirements. This helps ensure compliance while protecting the architectural intent. Throughout, we provide clear guidance on programme, key risks and next steps, keeping the process calm, transparent and well controlled.
We offer a free, no-obligation initial consultation either on site, or at our office, to discuss your objectives and assess the opportunities and constraints. You can contact us via our contact form, email, or by calling either studio directly.
We deliver new-build homes, developments, extensions and high-quality renovations across residential and commercial projects. From private houses to workplaces and mixed-use schemes, we provide a full architectural service from concept to completion, tailored to each client, site and budget.
If you decide to proceed, we will issue a tailored fee proposal based on the scope of services required from us and any additional consultants. Our appointment is flexible and is often set as a fixed fee per stage, so costs are transparent and deliverables are clearly defined.
The proposal is typically structured around the following work stages:
01 Preparation & Brief
We discuss what you want to achieve, how you plan to use the space, and any key constraints. We usually arrange a measured survey of the site and/or existing building.
↓
02 Concept Design
We develop initial ideas and layout options around your brief and budget, and share them with clear drawings and 3D visuals. We refine the design with you until the direction feels right.
↓
03 Developed Design
We prepare and submit the planning application, including the drawings and supporting documents needed for the site. For Protected/Listed buildings, this may include a heritage statement.
↓
04 Technical Design
We produce the detailed information required for Building Control and for pricing and construction. This typically includes coordinated drawings, specifications, and any supporting calculations (such as energy information).
↓
05 Construction
Once on site, we help keep the project on track by answering design queries, reviewing key details, and attending agreed site meetings. Our role is to protect the agreed design and support a high-quality finish.
